When I woke up on October 31, 2019, I decided to step on the scale to check my weight. What I found was not really a surprise, but was enough to light a fire under my ass. Some may see this as a mid-life crisis, but I see it as a chance to turn my health around to reduce the chance of dying at an early age like my father did. He was only 54.

Following is the data presented to me by my scale, with starting numbers and current results.

The "Start" date is 10/31/2019, and "Current" results are as of 01/31/2020.

I'm doing this without starvation dieting, and just reducing my intake of high-fat and high-calorie foods. I'm still taking in at least 1250 calories, 100 grams of protein, and 64 ounces of water per day. I've also increased physical activity, which at this point is just walking after breakfast and lunch, and dynamic tension self-resistance exercises.
